What size is my logo?

The size of an embroidered logo refers to the number of stitches it contains. It is therefore determined not just by it's dimensions, but also by the design. A solid block or heavily detailed logo requires more stitches, and hence it is classed as larger.

SMALL LOGO - A logo that is simple plain text or made up of solely thin lines will be classed as small; as will a basic symbol or insignia.

MEDIUM LOGO - A design that incorporates both text and an image, or bolder style writing, will typically be medium in size.

LARGE LOGO - Designs that are a solid block or circle will usually be large. This includes crests and emblems as well as any design that incorporates a background.

Take a look at your logo and think about how solid it is. A good tip is to imagine a box or circle around the design and think about the percentage area the design covers. The more of the box your design fills, the more stitches it will be.
